At NEST, we embrace a movement of fostering change in footwear towards greater ecological integrity. Sustainable fashion is more than our textiles, it’s our belief that we have a responsibility to connect to nature and humanity. We endeavor to become fully sustainable to achieve our goal of restoring the environment through eco-friendly processes.

Philanthropy

For each shoe purchased, Nest donates to charity organizations. Some non-profits we support are listed below. Now more than ever, we must take care of our environmental home to create a sustainable future for it.

Surfrider Foundation

The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network.

The Nature Conservancy

Founded at its grassroots in the United States in 1951, The Nature Conservancy has grown to become one of the most effective and wide-reaching environmental organizations in the world. Thanks to more than a million members and the dedicated efforts of our diverse staff and more than 400 scientists, we impact conservation in 79 countries and territories across six continents.

Waymakers Huntington Beach Youth Shelter

Growing up is challenging in the best of circumstances and overwhelming when situations are adverse. Many run away or are displaced by families who can’t cope with the problems. With an eye toward resolving the crisis and providing long-term stability, Waymakers works with families and leverages community resources to create healthier situations at home.

OC Food Bank

Our aim is to make a positive impact in people’s lives by helping them meet basic needs and strengthen their support system. The OC Food Bank works with nearly 400 local charities, soup kitchens, and community organizations to end hunger and malnutrition. The OC Food Bank provides donated food, USDA commodities, and purchased food to non-profit agencies in Orange County that serve low-income families and individuals. Annually, the OC Food Bank is able to distribute more than 20 million pounds of food.

With our newly launched nestCycle program, we are offering an opportunity to recycle your used footwear. Simply drop off your gently worn shoes at our office or by mail and for each shoe donated receive $5 OFF toward your NEST purchase as a thank you for contributing to sustainability and our recycling goals.
